NDPE IRF

Meeting No Deforestation, No Expansion on Peat and No Exploitation (NDPE) commitments is an ongoing process to understand what is needed to achieve it, as well as a commitment to track progress, identify where action is needed, and work to implement the necessary changes and improvements

The NDPE Implementation Reporting Framework, or NDPE IRF, is a reporting tool that provides a shared and consistent view of progress towards NDPE commitments across the full supply base of companies throughout the supply chain.

The IRF is like a universal language that all players can use and understand, allowing individual companies and the industry collectively to:

  • Understand what is required to deliver NDPE commitments

  • Monitor progress

  • Identify gaps

  • Drive improvement.

Watch key players across the supply chain explain the role of the NDPE Implementation Reporting Framework in monitoring and meeting commitments on the ground. PepsiCo, Cargill, Musim Mas and Proforest explain how and why the IRF supports commitment, understanding, action, improvement and trust.

We have also produced a slide deck and FAQs providing a summary of what the NDPE IRF is, why it is important and how it works, as well as a more detailed introduction. The Resources section of this website contains progress updates and technical documents for you to download.

NDPE IRF is developed under the Palm Oil Collaboration Group, a group of more than 30 companies from all stages of the palm oil supply chain including producers, refiners, traders, manufacturers and retailers.
